Jo Ingleby: BBC Cook of the Year

We are delighted to announce that our own chef tutor Jo Ingleby has been crowned Cook of the Year in the BBC Food and Farming Awards for her work with children at Redcliffe Children's Centre in Bristol. Needless to say we are thrilled for Jo and are delighted to see her incredible work recognised on this national level.

At Redcliffe, Jo and her team cater for up to 40 children each day. With her team, she has developed the idea of ‘experimental cookery’ for the under-fives, where the children can choose from ingredients and equipment to develop a creation of their own. They are involved in all the cooking skills from this young age, which Jo sees as both a challenge and an adventure into food.

Congratulations again to Jo! You can find more information about Jo
