Booking Terms & Cancellation Policy

Whilst the dates & prices for the courses are correct at the time of going to press Morso Vegan reserves the right to make alterations to dates, times, course content & prices.

Bookings are made on a first come, first served basis on receipt of full payment.

Amendments to bookings for one day, half day and evening classes may be made up to 28 days prior to the date of the class. If you find you are unable to attend a class less than 28 days before the date of the class you are welcome to send someone else in your place. We regret that finding an alternative date or refunding the course fees can only happen if we are able to fill your place. These rules apply equally to bookings made with a Gift Voucher. These rules apply equally to last minute bookings made within the 28 days before any class. These rules apply equally to private classes. These rules apply equally to supper club bookings.

For longer courses, the required notice for amendments is 60 days. If you find you are unable to attend a class less than 60 days before the date of the class you are welcome to send someone else in your place. We regret that finding an alternative date or refunding the course fees can only happen if we are able to fill your place. We recommend taking out insurance that covers the course if you are unable to make it.

Customers are responsbile for ensuring correct contact details are provided at the time of booking. Morso Vegan is not liable for any missed communications regarding the course.

Refunds are not available on Gift Voucher purchases, nor can Gift Vouchers be exchanged for cash or other goods.

Gift Vouchers are redeemable against any of our courses. Any additional balance is to be paid at the time of booking.

Any refund is subject to a 10% fee to cover the associated processing costs.

Any discounts or promotional offers run by Morso Vegan are not able to be retrospectively applied to existing bookings. Any discounts or promotional offers run by Morso Vegan are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time.

If through unavoidable circumstances Morso Vegan has to cancel a course, your booking will be transferred to another course of your choice or if you wish, all course fees will be refunded in full. We will not refund any other costs you may have incurred in advance, such as travel and accommodation.

If you have an allergy or food intolerance, it is your responsibility to tell us in advance. Our kitchen is 100% vegan and we do not cook with meat, dairy, egg, fish, molluscs or crustaceans. Please note that we do use celery, gluten, lupin, mustard, peanuts, sesame, soybeans, sulphur dioxide and sulphites and tree nuts in our kitchen. We may use ingredients that cannot guarantee that they are free from traces of dairy, egg, fish, molluscs or crustaceans.

Students must be over the age of 13. Students under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult aged 18 or over. Students must be at least 16 to attend a class unaccompanied.

All course participants are expected to adhere to our house rules around kitchen safety and food hygiene. We reserve the right to remove anyone who does not follow safety instructions or who is acting inappropriately towards our staff or to other students.

Morso Vegan shall be under no liability whatsoever, for any loss, injury or damage to course participants or their property, whether in respect of any neglect, act or omission by the school, its agents or employees.

Photographs may be taken throughout the course that we may share on social media, use on our website and in advertising. No personal details will ever be published with the photographs. Those who do not wish to be photographed need to let us know in advance and are responsible for removing themselves from any group photos.

5. What Data Do We Collect?
Depending upon your use of Our Site, We may collect some or all of the following personal data (please also see section 13 on Our use of Cookies and similar technologies):

contact information such as email addresses, postal addresses and telephone numbers;
financial information such as credit / debit card numbers;

operating system;
a list of URLs starting with a referring site, your activity on Our Site, and the site you exit to;
your dietary requirements and whether you have attended a class previously.

All personal data is processed and stored securely, for no longer than is necessary in light of the reason(s) for which it was first collected. We will comply with Our obligations and safeguard your rights under the GDPR at all times. For more details on security see section 7, below.
Our use of your personal data will always have a lawful basis, either because it is necessary for Our performance of a contract with you, because you have consented to Our use of your personal data (e.g. by subscribing to emails), or because it is in Our legitimate interests. Specifically, We may use your data for the following purposes:
1. Providing and managing your access to Our Site;
2. Personalising and tailoring your experience on Our Site;
3. Supplying Our products and/or services to you (please note that We require your personal data in order to enter into a contract with you);

With your permission and/or where permitted by law, We may also use your data for marketing purposes which may include contacting you by email (Our newsletter) with information, news and offers on Our services. Third parties (including Google Analytics, Google Adwords, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest, whose content appears on Our Site may use third party Cookies, as detailed below in section 13. Please note that We do not control the activities of such third parties, nor the data they collect and use and advise you to check the privacy policies of any such third parties.
You have the right to withdraw your consent to Us using your personal data at any time, and to request that We delete it.
We do not keep your personal data for any longer than is necessary in light of the reason(s) for which it was first collected. Data will therefore be retained for the following periods (or its retention will be determined on the following bases):
1. Your contact and financial data will be kept only as long as it is needed to provide our service and aftercare and for accounting purposes.

7. How and Where Do We Store Your Data?

We only keep your personal data for as long as We need to in order to use it as described above in section 6, and/or for as long as We have your permission to keep it.

Where We transfer any personal data outside the EEA, We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated as safely and securely as it would be within the UK and under the GDPR including:
1. MailChimp: transferred over TLS 1.2 and stored securely using strong passwords and 128-bit or stronger data encryption;
2. DropMySite: 256-bit data encryption;
In certain circumstances, We may be legally required to share certain data held by Us, which may include your personal data, for example, where We are involved in legal proceedings, where We are complying with legal requirements, a court order, or a governmental authority.

9. What Happens If Our Business Changes Hands?

We may, from time to time, expand or reduce Our business and this may involve the sale and/or the transfer of control of all or part of Our business. Any personal data that you have provided will, where it is relevant to any part of Our business that is being transferred, be transferred along with that part and the new owner or newly controlling party will, under the terms of this Privacy Policy, be permitted to use that data only for the same purposes for which it was originally collected by Us.
In the event that any of your data is to be transferred in such a manner, you will be contacted in advance and informed of the changes.
