Middle Eastern Mezze
Course Details
Middle Eastern cooking is vibrant, fresh, colourful and is packed with fresh herbs and aromatic spices. Dishes from the region are perfect for plant-based mezze.
You will learn how to recognise and use the essential herbs and spices of the Middle East and flavours such as pomegranate molasses, rosewater and orange blossom water. We will also be able to give tips and advice for where to source ingredients and store cupboard essentials which will enable you to recreate these dishes at home.
On this course you will learn to create a delicious mezze of your own. We will make dishes such as:
- Imam Bayildi
- Moudardara
- Za'atar Labna
- Lavash
- Herby Tabbouleh
- Fattoush Salad
- Pistachio and Apricot Baklava with Orange Blossom Yoghurt
The choice of dishes always depends on what's in season so you're guaranteed the freshest, most flavoursome produce, which always produces the best results.
The class is hands on with some demonstration. The course ends with a sit down meal around our dining table to enjoy the food made. Please bring a plastic container if you wish to take some of your food home with you. You will leave with a full recipe pack so you can recreate the dishes at home.
